Donington Park Farmhouse Wedding Photographer

I recently had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful intimate wedding at Donington Park Farm House in Nottinghamshire. This charming 17th century farmhouse served as the perfect backdrop for the bride and groom's special day. The bride looked absolutely stunning as she and her bridesmaids got ready in the morning, and I was there to document every moment from start to finish.

The weather was perfect for a late summer wedding, with warm September sunshine creating a magical atmosphere. The relaxed and natural vibe of the day made it easy for me to capture genuine moments of joy and love shared among family and friends. Donington Park Farm House is not only a wedding venue but also a working farm, adding to the rustic and picturesque setting. As a Nottingham wedding photographer, I love being able to capture the beauty of such unique and historic venues.

If you're looking for a photographer who can capture the essence of your special day in a natural and relaxed way, consider Matt Andrew Photography. I take pride in creating stunning images that will tell the story of your wedding day for years to come. Donington Park Farm House weddings are truly magical, and I feel grateful to have been a part of such a memorable day.

Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel Wedding | Megan & Neville

Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel Wedding Photography

I always love the relaxed atmosphere at the Old Vicarage, a lovely little boutique hotel, nestled in the village of Southwell in Nottinghamshire. Personally I reckon it is one of Nottinghamshire’s hidden gems and I am always pleased to return there. So when Megan and Neville contacted me about being their Nottingham wedding photographer, I was excited that they had chosen The Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel as their venue, a mere hop skip and a jump from where I live.

Old Vicarage Wedding Venue

The super friendly and dedicated team at The Old Vicarage are on hand to ensure that weddings run smoothly with every last detail taken care of. They are passionate about tailoring each wedding and making each unique and special. This stunning venue is perfect for those who are looking for a more intimate ceremony with exclusive use of the grounds. The Old Vicarage is set in idyllic gardens. Outdoor ceremonies are held in the impressive purpose built bandstand which provides a beautiful backdrop.

Wedding Preparations

Megan and Neville chose to have their spring wedding inside the venue itself. The rooms are stunning and beautifully decorated with large windows ensuring plenty of natural light for capturing beautiful photographs. Megan got ready in the spacious bridal suite, again tastefully decorated. I got some lovely shots of Megan and her five bridesmaids as they prepared for the ceremony. They were all in good spirits and super chilled which always makes for great pictures.

Wedding Ceremony

The bride was walked down the aisle by her younger brother as Neville waited patiently for her to join him. After the ceremony I got some great confetti shots at the front of the house and then of course portraits of the happy couple on the famous Old Vicarage garden swing - another aspect that makes this venue so unique. After a fabulous meal prepared by the in house chefs, guests enjoyed the warm evening air outdoors before the party got into full swing with plenty of dancing and good vibes!

Your Old Vicarage Wedding

If you have booked your own wedding at The Old Vicarage in Southwell or any other of Nottinghamshires amazing venues and still need a wedding photographer please don’t hesitate to get in contact, I would love to hear from you.

Here are a few pictures of the day, enjoy!

Nottinghamshire Tipi Wedding | Laura & Tom

Well, after being postponed a number of times due to Covid, we finally got there! Laura and Tom’s wedding on 22nd May was my first wedding of the season, and my first wedding for a very long time. After being out of the game for so long it was great to be back in the saddle. Quite apt really for a wedding on a farm!

Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony itself was held at St Peters and St Pauls Church in Shelford, Nottinghamshire, just across from Laura’s mum’s beautiful farm where Laura got ready with bridesmaids Joanne, Roma and Lauren. Tom arrived in style in his BMW M3 - impressive stuff! This is the car I have always said I would buy if i won the lottery, I suppose I’d stand a better chance if I actually bought a ticket. 😃 After the ceremony it was a short hop back over to the farm for photos where we were also joined by Rocco the dog who wanted a piece of the action.

Nottingham Tipi Wedding

A tipi in the field played host to a fun-filled reception. Even though guests were limited to 30, this didn’t dampen spirits. Everyone had such a great time, especially now they were able to celebrate after so long in lockdown. They certainly made the most of it. Congratulations Laura and Tom on your special and long-awaited day. I was glad to be a part of it and I hope your heads weren’t too sore the next day!! 😉

Here a few highlights from their special day.
