Bridal Prep

It was a short hop over to Derby for me for Emily and Robert’s summer wedding. I joined Emily at her mum’s house where bridal prep was in full swing with maid of honour Louise. bridesmaid Georgia and little flower girl Everly. Then it was over to the ceremony at St Werburgh’s Church in Spondon where we met an emotional groom. I love to capture raw feelings, they make the best and most memorable photos.

White Hart Inn

It was then on to the reception at the White Hart Inn at Alfreton where the celebrations continued well into the night.

Yeldersley Hall Wedding Photography - Rachel & Phil’s Wedding

I was lucky enough to photograph the wedding of Rachel & Phil on what seemed to be the hottest day of the year. The ceremony took place in the grounds of Yeldersley Hall in Ashbourne, a venue with which I am familiar. Rachel looked stunning and was a picture of simple elegance. Although much to my amazement, she didn’t seem to think so!!

Here are some pictures from the day and i’m sure you will agree that she looked amazing.

Beautiful bride! Beautiful dress! Beautiful day!

Holme Pierrepont Hall Wedding Photography | Katherine & Anand

Wedding Photography At Holme Pierrepont Hall

Phew what a scorcher!

The sun certainly came out for Katherine and Anand’s wedding at Holme Pierrepont Hall in Nottingham. This was one of the hottest wedding days I’d been to and luckily the ceremony was outside where we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather. The bright sunshine was matched by the vibrant and colourful outfits of the guests. Happiness all round!

I met Katherine while she was getting ready with her bridesmaids at the venue. She then left in the wedding car to pick her dad up from the nearby Gamston Lock Hotel. They soon arrived back at Holme Pierrepont Hall in time for him to walk her down the aisle. The ceremony was followed by drinks and canapés in the courtyard garden before moving indoors for the meal and evening reception.

Great venue, great weather, great couple, great day! Congratulations to them both.

Here are a few highlights from their wedding day.
